CdG Homme offers this quintessential trench jacket, built with a gabardine construction for a sleek look and feel. A long invisible button placket is accented with two slit-style hand pockets. • About the brand
Borne from a successful women’s line in 1973, the COMME des GARÇONS fashion house by Rei Kawakubo first found its popularity in Japan and its place on the worldstage soon after. Today, the Paris based CdG company is revered for developing cutting-edge styles, branding, and products. In 1987, Japanese designer Junya Watanabe, Kawakubo’s protégé and a patternmaker for CdG, became the lead for CdG’s tricot line and then moved on to design for the COMME Des GARÇONS Homme line. COMME Des GARÇONS Homme embodies the artful legacy of its two original creators, blending Watanabe’s techno-couture eye with Kawakubo’s unstructured, gender flexing designs to create practical and timeless pieces teeming with unique spirit.
