About the brand
Hoka One One first gained attention in 2009 with oversized outsoles, dubbed "maximalist" shoes, with extra cushioning that were in contrast to the minimalist shoes trends that were gaining popularity at the time. HOKA ONE ONE produces both low-profile and max-cushion shoes for road, trail, and all-terrain use, with highly technical features such as Vibram® outsoles, low weight-to-cushion ratios and sole geometry designed to promote stability and an efficient stride.
